For me its headphones unless I like what is playing in the shop (we have speakers in FAI connected to the shop speakers with our own volume control. I like hard rock/metal (Disturbed, Korn, Volbeat, Slipknot, ect...)
bfire85 I've also been listening to a lot of Falling In Reverse, Imminence, and Architects. I definitely recommend you check them out. They have songs that have been helping me through my current situation.
A-machine-insp Just checked them out. Good stuff! I'll have to dig into them a little more! Have you looked into Architects with the death of their guitarist/song writer? Adds a whole new meaning to their last two albums.
bfire85 The first song I listened to was Doomsday and it was a reaction video. The reactor went into the band history before he listened to the song so yes, I knew about it before I listened to them the first time. Their songs were always good songs to me but they had a much deeper meaning to me after I lost my wife. The newer songs resonated with me on a much more personal level and they are an outlet for me, one of the very few outlets I have.
Also, the new Imminence album is all about the lead singers fight with depression which has a very deep meaning with me as well.
bfire85 I don't want to know where I'd be without music. I have always relied on music to get me through tough times and I am relying on it now more then I ever have.
