How can i post a picture?

Hi, trying to make a post about a question i have, and it won't let me post the picture.i get this message

Upload failed due to your usergroup's upload quota. This file will require 4.17 MB but you only have 542.4 KB of 1.00 MB remaining.

I have tried for several years to delete old pics. Doesn't work for me either.

Only way I have found is to go to the media center, click on the picture you want to delete, then follow the link it gives you to the post, then edit the post, delete the picture. BUT, that worked a couple forum upgrades ago, don't know if it will work now or not. Too bad we can't have more than 1MB of storage for pictures. I mean, a 64G thumb drive would hold ALL the allowed picture storage for ALL the members of the forum 24 times over. I guess HEX buys that outrageously price data storage systems from the 1950's.....

Yep, still works, media, pictures, post, edit post, delete pictures, delete uploads, pictures gone.

HOWEVER, most of my pictures are in posts that either no longer exist or have been archived by HEX at some point in the forum updating process, and I can not access them to delete them. Pretty sweet, eh? GOTTA LOVE that 1MB of storage they let us use!

Thanks Matt, I"ll give that a try. Agree that the storage space allotted to each user is archaic to say the least. Many times I have wanted to add a pic to a post but am given the message, nope you have used all your storage space.
