Please Remain Calm

Saw this on the home screen and had a bit of a giggle over the word choice. That being said, I'm curious why its doing this. After 5 minutes I restarting PC-DMIS: It crashed on re-launching. Then I re-re-launched it, and its doing it. I can still open my programs and use them by going to the open option in the top left.

I was curious as to if it had to do with the programs being on a network location or permissions but I launch as administrator, and we don't have an active IT guy so I doubt any changes server-side have been made (plus I can still use programs on the network, and windows explorer has no issues accessing the network) so I'm not really sure why this is happening.

Edit: I run 2019 R2 SP3 and this issue is no longer occurring

I thought this was going to be another corona post. You may need to perform a "Reset User" through Settings Editor. Also, are you sure your PC meets the requirements of the particular version?

I haven't checked the specs/requirements myself but this PC is allegedly Hexagon's latest and greatest build for PC DMIS with our 7.10.7 SF as of Q4 2019.

derekvegeta Unless there are new features that you really depend on, it might make life a little bit easier to revert to an older version. I have 2018, 2019, and 2020 on my offline PC for testing. For production we still use 2016. I have noticed 2018 to seem very stable, whereas 2019 and 2020 are extremely laggy and they freeze up. For me, at least.

Funny enough, I'm currently trying to setup a computer for offline programming on 2018 R2 but COVID-19 is messing with my ability to get an adapter for my monitor.
