Hi all, im having some issues. I found out about the INSPECT program and downloaded it so that employees can use the CMM to check parts when im not here easier. I downloaded the file and can pull up the program and open it at my desk. But when i go to open/ install it on the CMM it never brings it up. I am fairly certain I have all the other programs/ files necessary to run it. Any ideas are good ideas ive spent the last 5 hours on it and nothing.
Yes, I ran it with full administrator privileges. PCDMIS was completely closed each time i tried opening it. I even double checked to make sure the files were in the correct location. Im sure its something small that ive messed up on.
Latest version of inspect is installed. It is downloaded onto the CMM PC i got it to install i just cant get it to boot up. it doesnt require an internet connection does it?
When you try to open it, do you see the Inspect splash screen at all? Have you checked the processes tab in task manager to see if Inspect.exe is actually running when you try to open it?
Have you tried a complete reboot? Have you tried to repair the installation while making sure nothing else is running?
