Hi all
Whats ur onion on loops?
are they related to thought loops? the ones you get at intense lsd/mushroom experiences?
If so, how to you break out of them?
My onion on PC DMIS looping is that it is pretty convenient if you know how to use it. For example, I have a part that has a 67 square slots in the ID that are equally spaced at a nominal angle from one another. Print wants length, width, and a few true positions back to EACH slot. I programmed for one slot then used a "do loop" to iterate out & make that code check the other 66 places. Code was short yet very effective.
To break out of...:
-PC DMIS End the loop--> 1) PC DMIS will automatically break out of the loop once it has been "completed". 2) CTRL + ALT + DELETE if its stuck!
-LSD--> Bad trip? Hang on, cowboy. Not much you can do there.
-Shrooms--> Saw on netflix that Milk will help you come down. Go to bed when you can.
I hate all these onions on loops. Loops are fine without onions. I mean, I love onions, just not on loops. Loops are great if you understand them, especially when it comes to alignments.
My favorite part of "while looping" is that hexagon admits their software doesn't work in it's official training material (instead of fixing it) and tells you to close and re-open the software if things are red lolol
