All of our radius gauges are reference only. That's how we have it written for ISO. Only if the radius is critical to the feature then it is measured. Most are for aesthetics.
Yeah... I ask cause the people I work with are ... they are very smart! And they write big explanation justifications in everything they do. They like to see ... something.

The only thing I can think of is to send them out one time to verify that they are in spec. Then show them the bill. From then on reference only. At this point you'll be able to show them a certified set of gauges. At some point you have to trust the tool manufactures. If your ISO certified put them on a 5 year schedule. Sorry no fancy words! Keep it simple!
