CMM-Manager

CMM Manager...
I have an exact Z height I need to measure a diameter from.
I plug in the Z height in the dialog box and when it probes, it is not in the correct location, it's too low.
For fun I added the probe diameter and it looks really dammed close!!! I think I'm on to something here.
However, when I report the diameter and Z height, the Z height is NOT correctly reporting.
Feel me?
Anyone help? I tried the other place so give me a break>

  • Maybe the ball compensation on the reference plane is in the wrong side ?
Can you post the code ?
  • CMM-Manager is not DMIS based in any way... You cannot access DMIS code because it is not there. You can open each Operation in the Program Database and edit. If you want to edit feature measurements in detail you could view the Points or Path tab in the measurement dialog to edit point locations, etc. Although it would be easier to use the Adjust Range, Depth, etc. option on the primary tab of the Measurement Dialog.

The DMIS options you see in CMM-Manager are for loading and running existing DMIS files from other sources.

I found that after looking around this POS software tirelessly. It's not there!
