What to expect on calibration?

Hi all,

searched around but didn't find much. Hex is coming to calibrate our machines in the next months. I haven't been involved in this before. I started CMM programming a year ago. What to expect? Should i remove all my fixtures from the surface plate? Is there anything i should do before they come? How long does it usually take to calibrate a machine? How long if it needs adjustments?

ThePudds i haven't heard anything yet (but we got some time before they come in). Thanks for letting me know

I'm just a bit anxious having to move my fixtures. The previous programmer was a million times more advanced than me and although i've made a bunch of new programs, i'm still maintaining his old ones that are full of logic use. I don't use those much, i'm not there yet
