About the Role
Chick Machine is looking for an outstanding CMM programmer – a person who owns their role, helps increases throughput, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Understand customer requirements
- Create programs in PC-DMIS and improve existing programs on Brown and Sharp Machines
- Program parts with up to 150 dimensions
- Align programs to High QA Inspection Manager Inspection Plans
- Effectively hand off programs to be setup and run by operators
- Embrace ERP technology to manage and execute CMM schedules
- Standardize fixturing and setup processes
- Optimize cycle times for production volume
- Improve offline programming capabilities
- Training other PC-DMIS programmers
- PC-DMIS or Calypso programming experience (at least 5 years unless proficient)
- Ability to maintain high standards while being time conscious
- Ability to work independently
- Strong GD&T fundamentals and familiarity with tight tolerances
