Does anyone know what the little orange bar under a users name stands for? I am just curious.
I know that when you post more if increases your level, I was just wondering if this was similar.
One thing to be mindful of, I don't think commenting on someone's post will boost your count. You need to quote them to do that.
True, I noticed that. Even though there are a lot of posts that are not really substantive. I like the ranking system. I think without it there wouldn't be nearly the community that there is now on the user forum.
Giving people some incentive to respond makes a huge difference (In my opinion). Also at the end of the day who does it really hurt to have some trash posts on here, as long as they are not rude or hurtful to anyone.
I try to put effort in to all of my posts and be really helpful but I am as guilty as anyone when it comes to throwing out a comment just so my Posts number will tick up one.
