So I was wondering what is everyone's background. I spent 23 years in medical on a Zeiss. Spent a couple years in aerospace on a Romer arm with PCD. Left the Quality world and turned wrenches for a few years at an amusement park. Now I am back to the CMM Brown and Sharpe world this time but in the firearms business. Working one finishing up my Manufacturing Engineering degree in the next year.
DAN_M Here is my current big project. Have to CMM inspect all the castings for these. It's the new scoops they are putting on the aft side of the F-15. It's my program and takes 45 minutes per part as programmed. Turned the movespeed up to 350 from 100 and I'm down to half hour run time. I love doing defense work!

UKCMM I want to vacation there sometime and see it in person. On top of working in the aviation industry, I love aviation in general but specifically fighter jets and aerobatic planes. It's one of the big reasons I didn't accept one of the 4 job offers I've had in the last year.
I'm also looking heavily into getting into paramotoring in the not so distant future.
Got to drive down the road in the valley last year while going to look at a house in the area but no time to stop, maybe go there again this year if we ever get out of this covid nonsense.
UKCMM If I ever have spare vacation time I really want to take a vacation there. Like I said, I love aviation and it would be awesome to climb all the way up to watch them fly by below me.
