This reminds me of when Americans were Boycotting the French, I don't even remember why, but they were pouring out wine, That they paid for, and the French company already got there money, so that was useless, and I think the funniest was people boycotting French's mustard. and the CEO came on the news and said "We're not a French Company, that's just the name of the company"

I kinda get that, French saying "Hey don't get us involved, we have to live by this sh_it, we're in the line of fire, you guys are safely across the pond"
I still called them French fries too. the American boycott bandwagon is so silly. Like all those people that bought Corona beers and poured them out during the beginning of lockdown.
