We were having a good chat about BBQ and I thought I see if anyone else had any suggestions for best BBQ around.

If you tell me some place in California I know that you either lying or you just have never really had good BBQ!

  • You know, being from the Midwest, I never really understood the big deal about BBQ. I just thought that any BBQ was good BBQ.

    However, at the last place I worked there was a fella who cooked his own special recipe and would bring it in during pot luck lunches around holidays. OMG! It wasn't just a little better than any I have had before, it was a whole 'nother level. Now I get it.

    I'm in Michigan and I never really had good BBQ until I worked a travel job and went out west. I would go to little hole in the wall BBQ places and ask the staff how they cooked and prepared things. I now have a few BBQ recipes, that I make at home, that are amazing.
