I have an old Sheffield that i need to dispose of. Doe any one have any ideals about how to go about doing this? I've called several scrap yards and landfills with no luck. A little help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!
We've got a DEA Scirocco (091508 i think). That's about to go out to pasture, We will be scalping all the useable parts off it though, so it would basically only be good for a surface plate. Located in Tempe AZ if anyone wants the granite. Top of granite is in perfect condition as it's been covered by a full size fixture grid its whole life. One of the X axis bearings decided to etch itself into the bridge, along the bottom 1/4" of the bearing.
