I was just forced to replace a NJB001 Jogbox and cable because it has been tripped over and yanked off the desk too many times. Was wondering if anyone has figured out a way to solve this problem. I was hoping to find an automatic cable reel or something but can't seem to find anything that would work. Just constantly untwisting and stepping over a cable (which is apparently really expensive). Any help is appreciated.
I probably wouldn't do this, but I found it interesting. You can turn regular cords into coiled cords (pigtail) by wrapping the cord around something and applying heat. Two links to how-to's below.
I found this while trying to find a product that would do the same thing with some sort of cord wrap that would protect the cord and coil it up in a spiral. I can't seem to find anything like that.
