SMA Question

Hello all, I work for a small Aerospace company and we have been slower than the last couple of years. Management decided to forgo the yearly SMA agreement. My question is if we don't have this SMA, can I still get technical help from Hexagon? Or do they basically cut us off from support. Thanks

  • If you call: First thing they ask for is a license number. They (people on the phone) won't help & then they'll offer to transfer you to "Software Sales Dept"
If you submit a ticket on the webpage: You'll get an automated message about a lapsed SMA

I'm pretty sure that in both circumstances they'll accept the help-desk ticket but it definitely sits on hold until you pay up $$$
