I like your avatar! I could have been mistaken for a CMM in my teens and early 20’s, because if I was presented with a hole, I was looking to probe it.
Is there any scope for freelance programmer in the world of CMM?
On a serious note, I am sure there is based on the job market and people looking for programmers. You'd have to feel it out. But there is investments you will have to make, like securing yourself an offline seat.
It is pricey.
