GOM Inspect

Hey all....I miss programming and reverse engineering issues on the CMM and parts made at the tech school, but now I'm getting paid to run 2 CMM's and a CT on the weekends. The CT utilizes 'GOM Inspect 'to analyze the meshes it produces. GOM has a free version that has almost no limitations. I've spent over 100 hours learning the GOM Inspect software now and if anyone that needs a level up lesson coming from PCDMIS send me a DM. I'm still rather green, but I can help you avoid the brain damage of how it differs from the CMM and it's basic functionality. Any other GOM users here???

  • I wasted 10 hours and frustration on stuff that doesn't matter. Not to mention I see stuff from the tesselation of the mesh that is produced that opened my mind on how programming GOM differs from PCdmis. I just want to save someone those 10 hrs I lost b/c someone on these forums has been beyond kind enough to me to spend over 8 hours talking to me on the phone and leveling me up tremendously with PCdmis.
