The company I work for has decided to upgrade our machine after watching me pull all my hair out and bought me a brand new Global S (Green). Not bad moving from a Ph9 up to a HP-S-X1. This new technology is amazing!
I'm like a kid in a candy store looking at all the accessories. ( I even have a probe rack now )
I'm assuming that some of you have this same machine, how good of a job has it done for you ? or what have you heard about these Global S Green machines ? They are not cheap !
How did the "guys at the top" know that it wouldn't be an issue? Did they do a vibration analysis beforehand? What there quantifiable evidence to support their conclusion? We have presses that are about 20 feet away from the quality lab. We did an analysis and knew it was an issue, so we had the system installed with it.

This is a can of worms I prefer not to open :P but I will say there was no quantifiable evidence for the decision other than people at the top being stubborn and thinking they are right... No tests were done!
