It seems that most other places around the universe frown upon you saying that CMM-Manager SUCKS!
Simple little things give such headaches. I hate it!! I'm SO GLAD my exposure to CMM tasks as limited anymore. It's nice having people beneath me to tell go do it!
We have a CMM here that runs CMM-Manager. Luckily, I have only had to write a few programs for it. The software seems capable enough for most tasks, but not on the same level as PC-DMIS. I wouldn't want to rely on it as my daily driver.
My first DCC machine I learned on ran CMM Manager... I was excited to write commands to tell the CMM to move (prior CMM experience was manual), but as soon as I jumped on PcDmis it was over.
it too me a while to figure out but once I did, I didn't hate CMM Manager. They have a decent support forum and the mods answer questions pretty quickly. I had to get used to right clicking everything to try and find the secondary options for the command I was looking for.
