Beer

Before anyone begins making allegations, the Beer thread was not deleted on purpose.

While cleaning up old off-topic threads I inadvertently missed excluding that one. As a way to make up for it, I've reinstated the rep points.

  • What I was told at Joe's Crab Shack and Buffalo Wild Wings is that its on Tap. I will check it out

Anyone that is selling Buffalo wings in Texas probably does not know what they are talking about.

I stopped going to BW3 when they became Buffalo Wild Wings.
Buffalo Wild Wings and Weck is the original name. It was a group of guys trying to bring the foods they enjoyed in Buffalo to the rest of the world. It was the only time I could get Weck in Cleveland. I now have to get it when relatives come to visit. My aunt gets it from Wegmans in Rochester, NY.
  • We recently got a Buffalo Wild Wings here in town. Hmmm............

Is it true that if you eat a pile of their hottest wings you get a free T-shirt ?

That'd be kinda like a guaranteed free one for me.

I was just there on Saturday. Not much different from when I was there last (about a year ago). Not to enamored with the food, lousy service, loud and crowded. I can't count high enough to say how many people bumped into me while I was seated at the table. Not my idea of a good place to eat.
  • I love BW3 and I still call it that. The nearest one is in Portland Disappointed. I believe you can still order burgers on kimmelweck there. I order the sauces online and make my own wings, but I prefer to go there and play trivia.
  • Only been to one once and had the third from the hottest and the hottest. Once you try a lower one and go to the hottest it's not really that hot. And of course beer, the largest glass they have. Still goes down too fast.
  • Never heard of BW3. I guess being from upstate NY there is no need.

    (clears throat loudly)

I will give you the benefit of the doubt and hope this is real beer and not mass produced weeweewater. In which case the beer does NOT go down too fast, the problem is not enough beer. Are you not aware of Craiger's 3rd law? It clearly states that the thirstier the food being consumed is likely to make you, the large the vessel and quantity on hand required. Sheesh! I personally like my homemaid ones. But here in the South of Dallas there is no Bars. So if you want to see a game with friends and get out of the house you havet to go to a restraunt. You can only buy beer until Midnight here also and no packaged booze at all. For that you have to go into the City limits of Dallas. But there are clubs there that stay open until 4am
