Interesting Alignment

Just had a coworker find this beauty of an alignment... the guy who wrote this program supposedly had 10 years of industry experience.

  • What's wrong with it exactly?
    Seeing it's the first alignment in the code, if it has sample hits, and if it's being using a locate the part on the table, and if the bore is a reasonable size?
    Will it not locate the part roughly in 3-dimensional space? 

    Maybe it's not perfect, but should get the job done.
