Definations of probe (code samples)

right here, search it out, custom probes.

Refer to the PCDMIS WIKI to get an idea of the layout of the files in question:

To edit a disk probe file from the PCDMIS parent folder file: PROBE.DAT

Make sure to change properties from "read only".

Click on file and it will open in Notepad.

Find and copy a similar disk probe file... EX: ITEM:TIP20MMDISK M2

Paste as another name, perhaps the disk size you want to create... EX: ITEM:TIP14MMDISK M2

Now, edit appropriate parameters from... EX: "hotspot 0 0 -70.5 0 0 1 20 1.0 disk" to "hotspot 0 0 -70.5 0 0 1 14 1.5 disk"

And make sure to also change the graphical from for collision detection (if used) and so that it looks like what you have created... EX: "cylinder 0 0 -71 0 0 -20" to "cylinder 0 0 -71 0 0 -14"

Save the edited PROBE.DAT file.

Change properties back to "read only".
