Code to Create an XactMeasure True Position Command with a diameter tolerance zone

Hey all,

So i'm trying to get around the annoyance of having to create 50+ separate true position command using exact measure manually by creating a script.

I can create the command for each however i can't find a way to change the tolerance zone to a diametrical tolerance zone...
(Click the diameter symbol box next to the tolerance)

anyone have any ideas?

I think you need to change the "toggle" datafields.

Create a program with the XactMeasure FCF you want and export it as BASIC. Open the BAS in Notepad and you will (probably) see the code for toggling the different datafields for the FCF.

diameter, in red, does not show up... and you can't toggle to it.

What does the exported BASIC code look like for that FCF?

This could very much be a bug.

not that i can find, no. I'll try looking later, when i can use Visual Studio to view the API. The help file is terrible at displaying eveything...

You f9 then repeat in xacmrasure again at sybol for diameter

unfortunately, doing that changes dimension values and is a lot of work if you have 50 holes in you bolt pattern.

fortunately they have added a new field that can be accessed in a script it is

"FCF_TOL_ZONE_TYPE"

so now i can make a script!

You should be able to change that field through your app as well, not only by scripting.
