I know as a person who has struggled from day one on how to program Pc-DMIS and then try to incorporate scripting on top of that, that a quick reference manual can be your best friend. Now there is the "F1" mentality, which isn't wrong, but some people just prefer to have a manual sitting infront of them. I came across this and if I am not allowed to post it, then please remove it. As the document is free to reference but the software costs money, I was hoping it wouldn't be a problem. So here is the link to the 140 page "Language Reference" manual for Cypress. I hope this can at least ease the transition for some into incorporating and writing their own scripts into Pc-DMIS programs.
Another fantastic reference are the PC-DMIS core manuals, which are available at the
Wilcox FTP site (all are version specific.) These are roughly 2,000 pages each with information on about every aspect of PC-DMIS, including PC-DMIS specific calls that would not be present in the Cypress manual.
