Return Edit window selection to script

Is there a way to return selected commands from the edit window to a script?

Ex: If I have 5 dimensions selected in the edit window can I send those commands to a script?

  • Highlighted (selected with mouse) or MARKED as in the PC-DMIS command "marked"?

    Might work if you select it with the mouse, hit CTRL+V and then have some serious code for clipboard management in your script...

    The clipboard thing would be an interesting approach but way more effort than this project (or my skill level) justifies.
