ciao! I would like to integrate my program of measures in c #.
Where can I find the PcdmisSession.dll and the Object Library -> PCDLRN
thanks a lot in advance
giuseppe
I know nothing about the PcdmisSession.dll - have never used it - but the object library can be found where PC-DMIS is installed - PCDLRN.TLB. The OL is (partly) documented in the Help, under PC-DMIS BASIC Language.
Thanks for you reply. Can I unpack the library to use it with my pc? pcdmis is installed on the computer of the measuring machine but I would like to work (with Visul studio) on my pc. You know if you can export the library and how you can start from PCDLRN.TLB
A Type Library is just a catalog of entry points and names. You normally import it to your development tool. For example in Excel you go to Visual Basic for Applications editor, select Tools -> References... in the main menu, and import the type library. Then you can write code calling that library.
I'm curious on this one also. If you're crunch for time and have a dongled license...Install it on your non CMM PC and then reference your library then put your dongle back on the CMM. Never tried it but in theory it should work.
Ah, I missed that part (working offline) - you need PC-DMIS installed to have the type library available, as far as I know. But you could always test with a copy of the pcdlrn.tlb file.
