Script to insert clearance planes in auto features

Anyone else ever get tired of having to/ forgetting to re-insert clearance planes in between hits within OD auto circles after a fine tune or edit ? Seems to get me in trouble I’m just wondering if there is a way to run a script that would automatically search through a PP and insert clearance planes in between hits of all OD type auto circles?

  • I’m aware of the circular moves between hits, But a lot of our parts are 30in+ in diameter, and being we use readpoint alignments, operator error becomes an issue if they don’t have the part centered on the table. And my company is into such an array of different applications, we can’t use any kind of permanent fixturing. But, I do use the auto vector points quite often, so that’s actually an easier solution. Thanks for the input. I’ve just recently taken that 60 dollar online VB class on hexagons website, so I’m trying to practice to get more familiar with scripting in PCDmis.
