Alignment offset

I have a script that changes the alignment offset values.
but when I run it it changes the theoretical values of all points.
what should I change in my script so that it doesn't change the nominals of the points?

  • when you change an offset in an alignment, Pcdmis will prompt you if you want to UPDATE all the stuff below. Try it without the script.

IF YOU DO NOT see that prompt, then someone at some point in time, clicked on DO NOT SHOW THIS AGAIN (or whatever it states) in the pop-up that is asking you if you want to update.

You should be able to make this show up again by going into the F5 menu, and click on the WARNINGS button on the GENERAL tab and tell it to show it again.

They have made a LOT of changes to this over the years, but you USED TO be able to select the default action (yes or no) and if the pop-up will display asking (yes or no) for almost EVERY item in the check list of the GENERAL tab. Too many of these were 'removed' in newer versions, and that is enough to anger the Good Humor man.

But, check in the warnings and see if it has been defaulted to YES update and NO don't show, and change them.
