GetReferencedFeature

Hello all,

How do I access the X measured value of one of the features in a distance dimension.
I tried " IF DimCmd.GetReferencedFeature(2 ).X > DimCmd.GetReferencedFeature(1).X THEN".
But PCDMIS doesn't like the .X.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hello!

It returns a command object. Convert it into a feature command and then I think Getdata can be used to retrieve the measured position. Excel is stuck in a heavy analysis so I can´t check my code atm.

I used Getfieldvalue directly on the command for coordinates:

Cmd.GetFieldValue(MEAS_X, 0)

But Getdata should work as well.

Hello

GetReferencedFeature(n) gives you a command.

so you can combine LostL suggestion

DimensionCommand.GetReferencedFeature(2).GetFieldValue(MEAS_X, 0)

return a string, so convert to double

CDbl(DimensionCommand.GetReferencedFeature(2).GetFieldValue(MEAS_X, 0))

Field value returns variant, in this case a double. I'm using it straight away to assign to a double in VBA.
