I need to copy part of a program to paste in another.

if you want to know how individual functions work, you should definitely consult the help.

here you can find "selectCommands" for example:

hmm do you have experience with basic? I am afraid this is not entirely trivial.
So forgive me if I advise you against the whole project.

bite the bullet and copy it by hand if needed, sounds like a good alternative to me.
