PAS Technoly Software to Pcdmis

Anyone heard of or used PAS Technology software to write a probe path for Pcdmis on a solid model?

  • I am still in the early stages of learning PAS software, in order to become a future distributor. I have written 2 programs so far, wow. It takes a bit of time to set surfaces that you want measured and to learn the software itself, but as far as programming time, I would say a savings of about 40%.
I can see that once I am not struggling to learn the software, you can spit out programs quite quickly. I am helping them with a couple minor issues with bringing things into Pc-dmis, but it works amazingly well at this point. If you make machined parts, this is the next step to go. The nice part is also being able to output programs for other softwares as well.

Are the PC-DMIS programs generated/saved to PC-DMIS native format or to some generic DMIS?
