question, why does pc-dmis have 'read point' & 'move point' ? ('ctrl g' or 'ctrl m') if they do the same thing? what are the reasons for having the 2?

Move point will automatically move the probe to that position.
Read point will find the current position of the probe. I use read points in my programs to eliminate manual alignments.
