I'm trying to modify my report and have hit a stone wall. All of the info in the help section doesn't help. All I want the report to read is X and Y nominals, actuals, deviations, and actual true position. I'm an old time Zeiss guy (1987). Help me out gentlemen.
There are implications to using the legacy dimensions vs. Xactmeasure methodology.
The main thing to keep in mind is that when using bonus tloreances on datums the legacy method is a little more conservative than using the new style. What I mean by that is, if you were to report the same feature using the two different methods you may reject a good part using legacy and accept it using the Xactmeasure method.
When dimensioning features without datum modifiers both methods will report the same result.
