Ok here is the problem...
I have scanned my airfoil using bladerunner software and everything ran smooth. The casting i scanned has trailing edge slots that are open on the concave side of the casting. So what i did was stop the partial scans right before it gets in the slots. However, whenever i look at my scans in Blade, it causes a big bulge over the slot from trying to spline the trailing edge radius to the trailing edge most point on the concave side. I need to best fit the section without factoring in the bulge created by the spline. I would like to have the spline left open but was told this is not possible. Does anybody know how best fit the scan without accounting for the bulge?
