Is my CMM kaput?!
I am creating section scans around an aerofoil cut in the Z height. I create a basic scan with a cut section of 0,0,1.
The scan works fine - that is untill you zoom in. You can see that the scan has not kept to it's intended height, it has gone awry both sides of the intended height.
The same applies when I use the CAD to create the scan.
I am using 2011mr1, SP600, and I have just qualified the lower matrix as well - I have a spare SP600 which I have used and the results are the same.
Time to call someone, but out of interest has anybody else encountered this before?
The attachemnt shows the overall scans from afar and a close-up of the scan. These two lines should be indistinguishable and be viewed as only one line.
