I have created the line as an "auto feature." Using that created line, (which is the center line of a 5 axis hole) I can then guide to the line placing my large ball probe on the hole and get a vector reading showing the relationship from where the ball is to the closest point on that center line. I can get a reading showing the hole is within tolerance of where it should be, but I can't take a point there to report that distance...
