I would say I am an average level programmer, not so great at working with models with complex origins though. I was just wondering if anyone could offer me some links, advice, help, anything to learn how to manipulate the origin in a cad model. Most common issue I have is the orientation, as in flipping the Y+ and Z+, if the origin is perfect I can program perfectly with the model, I am the only one here who does programming so I am outsourcing my issue. Also, I unfortunetely only have PC-DMIS 2001 and can't quite figure out "program mode" or iterative alignments---please help!
I attach iterative alignment file. Hope it helps you. Look at ftp.wilcoxassoc.com, user:anonymous, no password. There you can find help files and other documentation for your version.
