report window not finding standard templates!

My report window in 2012 mr1 has a hiccup! It was working fine friday until the latter part of the day when all of the sudden, the report window lost all of the icons for the different types of reports. The icons buttons for text only, text+cad, cad only etc... are all missing!

I looked in the users/documents/wai/dimis/2012/reporting folder, and all of the .lbl's and .clr's appear to be in there, and that is where the error message that i get in the report window says it can't access... very strange!

Any thoughts/ suggestions? of course i have a huge number of parts to measure for corporate this week... i don't have time for this! But that is the way it always happens.

  • OK, so reports are there and worked fine until end of May. Maybe you could delete your reporting toolbar.dat. Perhaps it became corrupt? I just deleted mine in 2012MR1 as a test, and the demon will rebuild it for you upon next start. worth a try, anyway. if in XP, you should find in:
    C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\WAI\PC-DMIS\2012 MR1
