HELP error calculation deflection matrix

Error calculation deflection matrix after completing calibration for some tips. what is it?
  • I had this problem intermittently for about a year with a LSPX1M with 100mm extension and 1.5 X 20 probe. DEA controller. Service guy had to tweek a couple of parameters in controller that had to do with timing of wrist rotation or something like that.

    The controller is the grey box on casters with cables going to the CMM and your computer. Just about all controller parameters are only accessible via TestSoft. This is a terminal interface that only Hexagon has the keys to.

    The Leitz probe bodies ship in a storage case (currently black plastic), and inside that case there is included a small bottle of Leitz-branded oil. This is what you want to use on the kinematic mounts (the little ball bearings) on the collets. I don't know what the SAE equivalent of that oil is, but you can buy more bottles from Hexagon if you can't find it.

  • Thank you guys for all your help, I will review all this after lunch, I am almost positive that as far as the probe parameters its all good there.

    I did find the proper oil bottle for the spheres, and I do place OptProbe before the LoadProbe
