We are having movement issues with our CMM. During a programme the CMM stops and it tells us "DOF: M54 invalid machine not in manual mode".
The machine is in the middle of a programme, it all runs in DCC mode. So we are unsure why it is implying we should be in Manual mode to move from A-B along an axis. Even in the middle of a calibration run the CMM stops and shows this message.
If we press 'continue' it carries on like normal, so it looks like some sort of jolt or glitch. We can't have someone stand next to the CMM pressing 'continue' every two minutes during a programme, so we would like to solve this issue.
C:\ProgramData\WAI\PC-DMIS\2013 MR1 That's the directory that comp.dat should be in now if you are Running Windows 7. You shouldn't have to create or rename anything.
If you're running Windows XP, the directory I specified earlier for XP might work but 2013MR1 but there is no guaranteed compatibility for XP so if it doesn't work then there isn't a whole lot I can to to fix it from here.
