Does anyone have a program created for the Reinshaw machine checking gage
MCG-1 using PC- Dmis DCC. Renishaw site only has one for manual mode, we are going to write one but thought I'll ask first.
I just wrote my own program . One for each cmm because of the size of my cmm's are not close. I just do 2 dcc alignments on the sphere then prompt the operator to place the arm on then let er-rip. I do 8pts at 3 levels as a sphere, with as large of arm that will fit. Then I tolerance the the roundness of the sphere. I run this test 3 times on each cmm every 90 days, and right after my anual calibration. I get about .0004" on the roundness.
