PC-Dmis DCC Program for Renishaw machine checking gage

Does anyone have a program created for the Reinshaw machine checking gage
MCG-1 using PC- Dmis DCC. Renishaw site only has one for manual mode, we are going to write one but thought I'll ask first.

  • I use the probe that came with it. I have std force modules on a tp200 on my Xcel CMM and a SP600 with std force on my Global CMM.
I measure measure a sphere on the center piont ruby then lock X,Y,Z on it, then I measure the sphere 2 more times with an alignment each time with X,Y,Z locked in. I then measure at 3 levels 8pts each level(+45 deg) (0 deg) and (-45 deg) This will be the sphere that you ask for the roundness on.
I run this program 3 times, just to get the average.
Also note that you should report to 5 places to remove any rounding error.
