Can a centerline be contructed and used as a tertiary datum?

Hello all I'm wondering if a centerline can be constructed from a basic dimension
and utilized to make a centerline to make as datum C. Datum A is the face of the part that will mate with another in assembly ( the most critical) Datum B is a plane perpendicular to datum A. Datum C however isn't properly callout and is a an imaginary Datum "floating" exactly in the center of this part as a centerline. I just want to know weather anyone has seen or even constructed a centerline for a datum from a BASIC dimension (which in this case the basic dimension is about the only possible feature to even construct this datum).
