During the Tech Preview, it seemed pretty stable from the little bit I played around with it. It seems solid and the new SIZE feature is pretty sweet.

It does look to be stable with vision. I didn't get a lot of time to dedicate to the vision section of it, but at least they didn't break the calibration.

VinniUSMC I should check the "Find Center" with our Optiv. It has been broken for a while with that machine. I don't think I ever checked this problem.

What is this new size feature you speak of ?!?!?

Size Dimension
The new Size command simplifies computing and reporting of local and global sizes per the ISO 14405-1 or ASME Y14.5 standards. The ISO 14405-1 and the ASME Y14.5 standards define local and global actual sizes.
For ASME Y14.5, the allowed features are cylinders, opposed parallel planes (also known as 3D widths), spheres, circles (cylinder cross sections), 2D widths (3D width cross sections). ASME Y14.5 defines the unrelated actual mating envelope and the local size.
For ISO 14405-1, the allowed features are cylinders, 3D widths, and their cross sections. Over twenty modifiers are defined in ISO 14405-1. You can combine these modifiers in various ways to create a specification operator for size. Separate specification operators are allowed for the upper and lower size limits. This means that thousands of different kinds of size calculations exist.

Don't know about the last releases but i use 2015 MR1 and have the problem with true position in loops (Example topic: http://www.pcdmisforum.com/forum/pc-dmis-enterprise-metrology-software/pc-dmis-for-cmms/31501-true-position-inside-a-loop-2)

Does this new version solves this ?

Where did you get that name, Mystic_Muffin? In the late 70s there was a radio personality that used the name of 'The Cosmic Muffin'. Just wondering if anyone remembers that, but of curse it depends on where you are from.

Or stay with 2014.1.....? Good question !
I think it depends on windows (32 or 64 b), on the controller (FB2,B3C, DC...), on the options (vision, laser, rotary...)

Don Ruggieri I was born in 89, so not the Cosmic Muffin (but that's much better name, to be totally honest). I was in Toronto with my band a few years ago and we were wondering around a sketchy part of town at 3am and found an open coffee shop called the 'Mystic Muffin' that was totally a drug front. I've tried to show others when I've gone back to the city, but I've never been able to locate it again... it vanished.

JEFMAN we can go with whatever. We use the b3c with a basic touch probe system... nothing overly fancy.

I guess I'll be the first one.
"Show label ID's" toggle on the toolbar doesn't seem to be working. If I want to show labels, I have to right click and turn them on one at a time.

This is working fine for me in 2017 R1. You should use the settings editor to make a backup, then do a Reset User (NOT Reset Product). See if that helps. . .

I'll give that a try if it doesn't sort itself out. It's sporadically working. If I keep clicking it will show some labels, but not others...or sometimes none at all. It's noteworthy that this is in a program where I'm using viewsets. In another program where I have no viewsets, it seems to work fine.
