I've been waiting for this. Tech support told me last year that 2017 R1 fixes the issue with Find Hole: Center not working with Check Distance like the help menu says it does.

Are we taking bets on SP releases?. Odd years seem to bring on average of 7. And since my confident level is so high with PC-DMIS. I'm gonna say 10..., 10 SP releases. VinniUSMC ah ah ah, you didn't say the magic number. ah ah ah, you didn't say the magic number

During the Tech Preview, it seemed pretty stable from the little bit I played around with it. It seems solid and the new SIZE feature is pretty sweet.

It does look to be stable with vision. I didn't get a lot of time to dedicate to the vision section of it, but at least they didn't break the calibration.

VinniUSMC I should check the "Find Center" with our Optiv. It has been broken for a while with that machine. I don't think I ever checked this problem.

My issue is when the prehit goes into the hole to check that a hole is present, if there is a fixture 3mm behind it, it hits the fixture, no matter what numbers I use for Check Distance.

That's odd...On the Optiv, I would get a probe error as if the probe hit something when using Find Center. But it was intermittent. Sometimes the feature would work and sometimes it wouldn't.
