I am having an issue with the auto notch slot. I am wondering if anyone else has had any issues with this. I am running PC-DMIS 2016 SP 5. My part is sitting on the CMM so the slot is to the back side (Y+). The notch is 1.6mm wide and cut 8.5mm deep. When I select the slot and look at the hit targets in the auto feature dialog box, all looks correct except the width is shown as 8.5 and the length as 1.6 (I would think this should be reversed). But when I hit create, the hits shown in the edit window do not match. You can see the outline of the notch on the part which seems to match the hits shown in the edit window. If I do reverse the width and length values, it still does not correct the hits shown in the edit window. I am probably doing something wrong but cannot figure it out.
I tried what Kirbser269 suggested. I used the smallest probe I have (0.5mm) and selected the notch from the CAD model and everything looked correct until I hit create. Then it reverted back to what I seen above. I am going to try it v2014.1 to see if it works in that version.
