I would like a comment to show up on my csv excel output report, but cant seem to figure out how. I have tried selecting different options, but have not had any luck so far. Is there a specific combination of options i need to have selected? or is it in the program? I have the comment setup as an operator input that shows up on the normal report.
i am outputting on report window print setup, under the excel tab, output format is csv. the comments show up on the normal report like they are supposed to, but just not on the excel. The other issue with the file open line is that the csv file is not created until the report is "printed" so i dont see how it could write that variable to the file that doesnt exist yet. maybe i am just still confused?
I sent this problem to hex. awhile back and here is what they sent me.
Sending comments (EDIT: non-report Comments) to excel is not working at this time I have tested up for version 2017R1 I have posted this into the programers and waiting for a version I can point you to were that is fixed. For your records here is the Jira number.
