Hi, all, Is there anyway to change highlight line thickness on features in the graphic window? The reason I want to do that is that when I edit my dimensions, I want to see right away which features are used on the CAD model. The highlighted feature line is too thin to see. Or is there anyway to show feature ID on a CAD model when you point/highlight the feature ID in the dimension command line. Sorry, too many questions recently!
Hi Sally. What version of PC-Dims are you using? There is no way to change the leader line thickness but there are a few other things that may help you. You can increase the font size (F6) but this will just make the labels bigger so maybe not so helpful. The other thing you can try (depending upon which version you are using) is to use some of the newer functionality that links the edit window commands and their corresponding graphics items. If you right click on a label in the graphics window you will get a drop-down list of functions to select from. One of these will be "move curser to" which will take you to the relevant command in the edit window.
This also works the other way, so if you find a command in the edit window and right click you will get a drop down list. Find "Feature" in the list and it will open up a sub list which contains a few more options. The ones that are probably of interest to you are "centre in CAD" (which will centre the feature in the graphics window), "highlight in CAD" & "in-highlight in CAD" (which will show or hide the label) and "move probe to feature".
With regards to the leader lines in the graphics window, again, if you right click on a label in the graphics window there is "change line color" and "change background color" which may also be of some use to use to you.
