We recently switched from 2013 PC-DMIS TO 2017 R1 and have lost the calibration sphere data. I'm just an operator and have no idea where to start. Can someone point me in the right direction or at least tell me what we have.
edboy707 , there is also a free elearning course that will show up to setup probes and sphere and enter their vectors.
Login or resister at
http://www.hexagonmetrologyu.com/ and search for (11100-00-30) PC-DMIS Probe Calibration Fundamentals. It looks like its been updated since the last time I viewed it.
It was 30 degrees lol I input the info and it worked like a charm. Thanks guys i really appreciate the help and will still be doing the Probe Calibration Fundamentals course hahaha
If you leave the artifact on the table at all times, you can measure the cylinder that supports the sphere (from bottom to top). Don't get to involved, and it doesn't matter if the probe is qualified, but take three at the bottom, three at the top, as much as you can get, then note the vector of the cylinder. Enter these values on the IJK for the tool.
